Update from Ottawa with MP Mark Strahl!

April 11, 2018

With just over 18 months until the next federal election it would naïve to take a relaxed approach and think that there is plenty of time leading up to October 21st, 2019. Throughout the Lower Mainland we are hearing from concerned Canadians about immigration control, restricted firearms, supporting our veterans, farming and agriculture, Canadian energy sector, foreign investments in Canada, free speech, and Liberal deficits for the next 20 years.

The reality is that Canadians are concerned about how the Liberal government is operating and we cannot sit idly and hope for things to change.

We want to hear from you and we will be hosting monthly events to provide an opportunity to do learn more about what Conservatives are doing to make a lasting impact.

Our kickoff event took place this Monday in Harrison Hot Springs. Neighbouring Chilliwack MP and Conservative Party Whip, Mark Strahl, came as our guest to hear local residents’ concerns and provide some insight on the goings-on in Ottawa from the Conservative party’s point of view. By all accounts the meeting was a roaring success.

“At 3 o’clock in the afternoon I was expecting there would only be 10-15 people in attendance for a Conservative meeting out here in Harrison,” said attendee and local realtor, Freddy Marks.

“I was amazed at the standing-room-only crowd…which actually spilled out onto the sidewalk!  I think people are tired of the Trudeau Government talking a good game but not having any tangible follow through beyond running huge deficits with seemingly nothing to show for it.”

Keep checking back for updates as to when our next coffee or pub nights are happening. We look forward to hearing from you.
