Notice of Annual General Meeting

Members of the Conservative Party of Canada residing in the Mission–Matsqui–Fraser Canyon Electoral District, are invited to attend the annual meeting of members. 

You are invited to join us Saturday, February 24, 2018

@ 4:30 PM for Registration, Meeting begins at 5 PM

Where? 'Brambles Bistro' at Tanglebank Country Gardens!

29985 Downes Road (just west of Mt Lehman Rd), Abbotsford

The meeting will be followed by a no-charge delicious pasta dinner, as well as a speaker to tell us all of recent Party activities! But talking to us about “How Conservatives can win in 2019” is our 

special dinner guest Mission Mayor Randy Hawes.

The purpose of our annual meeting is to hear reports of the activities of the past year here in Mission-Matsqui, hear an update on Party affairs nationally, and elect additional Directors for the coming year.

Note: The dinner is at no charge to Party members, $15.00 for non-members, but anyone who joins before the dinner, it’s free to them, too! A one-year membership is only $15.00!  (5 yrs for $60)

Memberships and Eligibility to Vote 

To be eligible to vote at this meeting, individuals must be members of the Conservative Party of Canada, for 21 days prior to the date of the meeting, so that is by 3rd February 2018.

Notice of Special Meeting to Select Delegates 

There will be a brief meeting following the AGM to elect ten delegates and five alternates to represent this EDA at the upcoming Policy Convention, scheduled for August 23-25 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  For full convention details go to  cpc18.ca.  In the past, delegates’ travel and accommodation costs have been partially subsidized.  Details will be available at this meeting.
