Conservative Candidate Brad Vis is hosting a Town Hall meeting in Lillooet on Wednesday, April 17 at the Lillooet & District REC Centre.
Brad wants to learn how the Member of Parliament for Mission—Matsqui—Fraser Canyon can effectively represent constituents in the northern reaches of our electoral district. He wants to learn how he can win your trust and your vote.
The current MP acts like Ottawa’s representative to Mission—Matsqui—Fraser Canyon.
He wants to be your representative to Ottawa, not Ottawa’s representative to you.
In the past 8 months, Brad and his team visited the homes of over 14,000 constituents to learn your priorities and your concerns.
The issues he hears most often while canvassing in our communities?
• Affordability. The government’s 4th deficit budget makes it harder to stay afloat, let alone get ahead, and heaps another mountain of debt on our children and grandchildren.
• Gang violence and illegal guns. Gang violence is rising in our community and it threatens us all.
• Saving the Fraser River. This ecosystem and the salmon and sturgeon populations it supports are vital to our community. There are also major concerns regarding flood preparedness.
• The Liberal MP’s formal request to change the name of our riding.
If you haven’t spoken with Brad yet, please join him at the Lillooet & District Rec Centre, share your concerns and ask him the tough questions you want answered.
