Agassiz Town Hall Meeting with Conservative Candidate Brad Vis

Earning the privilege of representing you in Ottawa is one Conservative Party candidate Brad Vis takes seriously. In the past 8 months, he and his team visited the homes of over 13,000 constituents to learn about your priorities. It’s his weekly mission to visit constituents and speak directly to those affected by government policies.

The concerns he hears most while canvassing our neighbourhoods are:

• Affordability. The government’s 4th deficit budget makes it harder to stay afloat, let alone get ahead, and heaps another mountain of debt on our children and grandchildren.

• Gang violence and illegal guns. Gang violence is rising in our community and it threatens us all.

• Saving the Fraser River. This ecosystem and the salmon and sturgeon populations it supports are vital to our community. There are also major concerns regarding flood preparedness.

• The Liberal MP’s formal request to change the name of our riding.
